Seller was nuts and moving to Florida. Watch out, you got another crazy one ! E very rooom has a different “theme”. I can’t use style or taste as the seller apparently only updated one room at a time over the course of 40 years and there is nothing similar. Stainless steel appliances, and about a dozen different light switches, brushed copper, brass, wood, white plastic .

Kinja'd!!!

Also the hou se had about 6 different lighting styles on the first floor .

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Poop brown tile.

Kinja'd!!!

forest green sinks, canary yellow walls and light green floor tiles.

Kinja'd!!!

Fun discovery, when we ripped out the vanity, we discovered that this wasn’t the original laundry room/bathroom . yes they remodeled it to this.

Oh god. I’m having flashbacks of window jobs I repressed.

Those green sinks are so, so bad.

Seriously, WTF with those light fixtures.

That’s interesting. It’s like they were worried about guessing wrong on their interior decor, so they chose like 6 interior decors, thinking one of them must be right and still somehow being wrong.

Hey, as long as they didn't botch the wiring, or cut sections out of the joists like someone else posted awhile back. That wasn't you, right? Lol

Wasn’t us.

What is fascinating, when they redid the kitchen, they had the electrical for the downstairs redone, but nothing for the second floor. They had 2 bedrooms, and the hallway sockets all go to one breaker which is how I assume it had been when first built in the 70s. . If we ran anything more than 2 window acs, it would instantly trip.

The guy who did my parent’s house was a nut. He wired the outlets on the same wall together, top to bottom instead of the same r oom together. He was also a cabinet maker. We know this because he finished the stairs and a lot of the stuff we renovated in fucking Formica and 50s metal cabinet corners. Nutty.
